I think some people need a reminder

We have the right coach. Not certain we have all the right players.

If it’s gonna be whining about players he lost in the portal every year I’m not sure lsu can keep him happy

Deserves to be reposted:
The previous administration made no changes with NIL funding toward baseball allowing other schools to catch up or in some cases (Miss St), to spend more putting together their rosters.
Supposedly, that's getting corrected before next year.

"Moving forward, we’re going to make sure that baseball, their rev share is going up,” Ausberry said. “We’re also going to have more money for them for NIL. I’ve been meeting with Jay about that. He had some concerns about where we were and some things we had to do, and we met this week on that.”
Johnson confirmed the meeting to LouisianaSports.net and expressed his confidence in LSU’s AD moving forward.
“I am very fortunate to be working with Verge,” Johnson said. “He was instrumental in hiring me at LSU, and he played a large part in our two national championships. He knows the importance of baseball at LSU. We had a great meeting this week, and I have full confidence in his leadership and commitment to help me make LSU baseball the best it can be."

Jay’s pissed at his current team’s lack of give a shite. He’s fine long term he just wants better short term and that’s not being easy with this group

Why do you continue to post stupid shite? Seriously? We all know you’re a fan of another program. We all know you try to troll. Here’s a little advice, stop trying so hard.

Thanks for reposting this.
Miss St. is the perfect example of how fast $$$ can turn things around with the right coach in place.
The pitiful outing last night has everyone extra salty, me included. Hopefully the boys get their act together today and make Sunday interesting.

I've felt for a while now that these guys look like they think that they're gonna out with that LSU on their chest and everything is supposed to be easy or something.

Good teams execute fundamentally sound basics consistently
Great teams take advantage of those teams that do not execute fundamentally sound basics consistently
This edition of LSU baseball has yet to rise to 'good'

You are the first to give up on any of his teams, lol.

Not really. Hey sometimes the team is not as strong. This is one of those times.

I am not sure the entire fanbase is as impatient as TRant.
I'm actually getting pretty sick of the front page.
Guy wins 66% of the last three championshps and the rant has words for him.
frick off rant.
66%.

Championship teams, like last season, have superb starting pitchers, solid defense and timely hitting.
This team lives and dies by the long ball because the pitching isn't as good and the infield defense (except for Milam) is subpar. The timely hitting, again, depends on the long ball.
Even Jay Johnson can't win all the CWS titles.

Even if he doesn’t win the natty this year, he’s still batting 0.400 which is pretty good. And while I’m not saying he will, it would be pretty amazing if he turns the Bad News Bears around and makes a legitimate run at Omaha. Errors, walks and hit batters have been costly this year.

In the new world order he now stinks .we’re reminded of that every time they trot out there.

Yep - the hype exceeds the talent
Posted on 4/11/26 at 12:28 pm to DesertCajun
Regardless of the money that he spent this year he has very inferior talent and that’s on him to evaluate these guys a little better. None of these portal players are even close to SEC talent. Even Dardar would not be good enough to to play every day as a starter .
