992.1 911 GT3RS with the Manthey Racing Performance Kit. If you skip the intro the car is running Michelin Pilot Sport 5 S tires, good, but nothing like a Cup 2 R.

This thing is a hammer. Misha just doing Misha things in a car that was bred for this work.

If you just want to go to the laps they are encoded in the YT video

I've been watching many videos on Manthey GT3RS's lately. Also the Singer DLS. Bth are insane.

Owning a Ferrari will cure you of the itch of wanting to own a Ferrari.
Owning a Porsche will make you want to own more Porsches.

I don’t think anyone passed him, and that Viper wing was illegal somehow .

Its from the modded exhaust.

You would be surprised at how many 911s have a CEL all the time. 911 owners love them some test pipes or low cell (200) cats. A lot of the cat manufacturers say they won't throw CELs, but almost all of them do at some point. For me, it isn't worth the trouble I just use test pipes then I don't expect it not to throw a constant CEL, cheaper and less backpressure.

Saw a late 80's or early 90's black 911 on trailer yesterday headed West on I-20. It looked it's age. Hopefully it was headed to Dallas for a little restoration. It had a rear wing. That made me wonder it it may have been an old turbo engine. Such a beautiful automobile.

If it looked like the one in the picture, it was at latest an '89. That is a 930 Turbo. The early ones (2 years I think) had whale tails, and the later ones through '89 had tea tray spoilers, but most non-Porschephiles call them all whale tails. Bit of trivia, neither of them were wings as they did not produce downforce, they just "spoiled" lift.

Those 930s fetch a good price, a decent one will run you over $200k. The later 993s overshadow them though, being the last of the aircooled engines, and being a better driver's car. You will be hard-pressed to find a decent one under $300k. I wish I had almost all my cars back for various reasons, but the one I sold that I really kick myself over was my '97 993 TT.

Short answer: yes. Fab Speed, Vibrant, and a couple of others made/make them. Do they work? Short answer: sometimes. I would just rather have it on all the time than have it come on randomly, plus I don't have to deal with emissions inspections.

Makes sense. I always have the rear O2s turned off in the program but run spacers for my emissions if I have to do it. Which I haven’t in years because I just text my buddy for it.
