I'm not going to watch this shite, but i actually do like both actors. However the film has been marketed as kind of a throwback 70s romance film about a young couple about to get married.

Looked harmless, but apparently there is major plot point that turns the film into a spinning emotional shite show breakup/relationship story that is pretty depressing.

The twist

If you haven't seen the movie and don't want to be spoiled, best to stop reading here!

So, what's the worst thing Emma's ever done? When she was in high school, she planned a school shooting. She didn't go through with it, but for a time, she seriously intended to get back at her bullies by taking her father's rifle to school and massacring her classmates. Looking back, Emma is horrified by her behavior and deeply regrets even considering doing such a thing. She was going through a hard time, she insists, and barely recognizes her former self.

A fricking school shooting...

What a lovely date movie!!

I can't remember Hollywood ever putting this much effort trying to get someone over. Mediocre talent, mediocre looks, absolutely no appeal.

I watched it last weekend and enjoyed it. It's a well made dark comedy

I mean, no it hasn’t. The trailer clearly indicates something dark undermining the relationship. The entire marketing is built around something taboo being involved without stating what that is.

It never takes long for the haters to arrive. She's an excellent actress, a good-looking woman, and a top ten bankable box office movie star. Wrong on all counts, three strikes you're out.

Zendeya is a top 10 bankable box office movie star? Are you retarded or something? She's not even a lead actress in any succesful movies.

The two biggest roles she has she plays the girlfriend of actual movie stars

You're wrong again, this Variety article literally came out today. There's a thread on it down below. I'm not retarded, just better informed.

I won’t agree on “excellent actress” but can on the others. She’s an OK actress but gets butts in seats regardless.

Despite my disdain for Euphoria, she does seem normal and exceptionally faithful to Tom Holland and doesn’t get caught up in Hollywood BS.

Give me that over Rachel Zegler any day.

I am convinced that show was an experiment wherein every single character/part had some form of mental illness.

An absolute train wreck and absolutely bonkers.

I watched 40 minutes of the first episode years ago and it remains in my “continue watching” and my wife side eyes me and I have to remind her that I bailed. This was before Sweeney was a thing.

I made it 2.5 seasons of the boys and that was less unsettling than 40 minutes of Euphoria.

She literally looks like a Neanderthal. Tell me you don't get pussy without telling me.

Her biggest hits ride massive IP, not her name. Put her in the lead of something original, say like Challengers and it doesn't light the box office on fire thus proving she isn't bankable when she's not essentially a supporting star in a popular franchise.

What nonsense. If she were blonde like Sydney you wouldn't be saying this. She's tall, leggy, flawless skin, great complexion, she's a pretty girl.

Movie theater owners say different about her bankability but what do they know? So does the $4.5 billion her movies have made.
