Aussies as feckless as Brits. Could deploy "a" warship if needed.

The navy also has three newer and more capable Hobart-class air warfare destroyers.
Admiral Johnston said the question of deploying a warship was not one of capability, but of Australia's strategic priorities.
"I am very confident we could deploy a ship into that environment if the government was to make a decision to do so," he said.
"I have no hesitation in our ability to work in a Strait of Hormuz-type role."
He said if the ADF was called on, it could send a ship to help secure the strait.
This shite about the Wedgetail (which we should not have canceled, even though we're trying to revive it) plays on civilian ignorance (which I'm fine with.)
quote:
The government has continually insisted that the Wedgetail has been sent to the region in a purely defensive capacity and is playing no role in offensive operations against Iran.
Oh, too bad about those integrated sensors and battle systems where the USN and USAF get fed that information anyway. So sorry!

I bet the Aussies have more admirals than functional warships. By warships, at least a frigate or bigger.

Was it the Aussies or New Zealanders that just had a woman admiral run a modern carrier into mainland?

All of those social programs come at a cost. Leftist are just too stupid.

Neither navy has a true carrier. The RAN has a couple LHD’s but the RNZN barely exists.

Just remember Australia was more like a penal colony as England shipped their undesirables there. Now it’s in the top few of the most woke countries and it’s not getting better soon

“A” ship. As in singular.
Without the United States, the world would be much more dangerous. Piracy would be out of control.

New Zealand, and not a carrier.
BOTH of their navy’s combined couldn’t stop a crew of Samoans paddling in on long boats.
It is criminal how bad things are there.
Here is the quote about that ship sinking under the “leadership” of their (DEI) captain (lesbian…so she ticked off more than one “box.”):
What a moronic quote.
It’s basically “We surrendered quite well!”
Oh…the cause of the ship grounding:

Defence Minister Judith Collins says a Court of Inquiry will establish how the Navy ship crashed into a reef. She called the evacuation "something of a triumph, frankly", given the difficult conditions.

Major ships of the Australia Navy:
Canberra LO2 Landing helicopter dock
Adelaide LO! Landing helicopter dock
8 helicopters (standard)
18 helicopters (maximum hangar space)
Hobart DDG 39
Brisbane DDG 41
Sydney DDG 42
Arunta FFH 151
Warramunga FFH 152
Stuart FFH 153
Parramatta FFH 154
Ballarat FFH155
Toowoomba FFH 156
Perth FFH 157
Normal back yard Navy meant to control sea area around Australia from non-combatant ships
Collins-class submarine 6
This is the main offensive weapon of the Australian Navy.
Back bone of the Australian Navy is the unsinkable Aircraft carrier.
This is not a navy built to engage a modern Navy for sea control far from home. This is a home defense force.
