when 90210 premiered w/its rather mature cast as high school students, 28 yr old Luke Perry went on Letterman, who asked him:
"So how old are you now, 52, 53?"

I find it hard to believe how old/young those actors were based on their looks.

I remember going home once to see my parents and running into some parents of my friends growing up.
You do the math and realize some of them had kids at 18-20 and your friends parents were actually only about 25 when you first met them. In my memories they always seemed older than that.

Seeing a kid call Clarissa/Sabrina a grandma kills my soul.

It may be worse when you compare yourself to something recent that actors born the same year you were born did.
Vincent D'Onofrio
Anthony LaPaglia
Sean Bean
Hugh Laurie
Kyle MacLachlan
Clancy Brown
Val Kilmer

Daniel Stern was 33 when he played Marv in Home Alone. I'll be 33 this year.

Good grief. What's in the water we're drinking now? Very few people I know in their 40's and 50's look as old as the people in that group.

Like the war on cigarettes or not, everyone no longer being engulfed in smoke everywhere you go had to help.

True. I wonder if people drink less alcohol than 50+ years ago also?

Older than all of them.
Look younger than all of them.

Yea this year was wild knowing I was the age of Catherine O Hara in Home Alone. She still looked way older than I feel at 36

I'm older now than all those folks, yet still feel like I look 30 years younger than they did.
