In need of CCL renewal class in Prairieville area

Yes, although we have Constitutional carry in La you do not have out of state reprocity without an active CCL.

You get important extras with the CCL.

I renew mine so I can carry in reciprocal states that do not have constitutional carry.
Also no background check required when purchasing a firearm.

Got mine here years ago when I still lived in PV.
Looks like they may have changed names so I'm not sure if they still do CCL.

For any NW LA folks who look at this, DavTac Custom Arms & Ammo in Bossier City offers a renewal course every couple of weeks on Thursday evening. Not too expensive, and you'll be done before bedtime.
Call to register and find out what you need to bring. I thought we might be the only ones in the class, given the advent of constitutional carry in LA, but it drew a healthy crowd.
The instructor asked why folks were renewing, and the reciprocity and purchase issues were cited by most. There are a handful of states that I might realistically drive to that don't have constitutional carry but do have reciprocity. A couple said that it was such a PITA to get the CCL the first time that they didn't want to let it lapse, just in case con carry ever went away.

I didn’t renew mine a couple of years ago based on the map showing constitutional carry is almost a map of the only states I visit lol.

I can't speak for all states, constitutional carry does not apply to non-residents in MS.
Just googled it.
Does not apply to non-residents in MS, TX, AR,
Does apply to non-residents in AL, OK, FL, TN, GA
