They're touring this summer. I have tickets for the show at the Tabernacle in Atlanta at the end of May.

The Eurythmics- "Here Comes The Rain Again" is one of the best recorded songs of all time.

Tough to pick one, but your winner likely comes from this group:
Hold Me Now
Here Comes the Rain Again
Time the Avenger
You Might Think
Footloose
Jump
Dance Hall Days
Rock You Like a Hurricane
I Want a New Drug
The Killing Moon
Time After Time
For me the winner is any of these depending on the day:
Dance Hall Days
Here Comes the Rain Again
Hold Me Now
You Might Think
The Killing Moon

You can probably hear 30 of those 40 songs on Sirius XM 1st Wave daily. I've always enjoyed the Pretenders and Chrissie Hynde. She grew up in Akron, was involved in the Kent State massacre - her best friend's boyfriend was killed. Moved to London and tried starting 4-5 different bands in the early 70's. During 1 stint, 3 of the band members overdosed while she had to start over again with new band members. In order to stay in Europe and keep her work permit since she wasn't a UK citizen, Hynde tried to get Sid Vicious, and later Johnny Rotten to marry her - neither did. She eventually married and had a child with Ray Davies of The Kinks, they divorced and she married Jim Kerr (Simple Minds).
I saw the Pretenders in 1984 at The Saenger with The Alarm. They opened with Time the Avenger and closed with Precious. Solid show

Interesting. Nick Saban and Gary Pinkel were both at Kent State during the massacre too. Playing football of course.

That's college radio, not mainstream.

1984. My vampire phase. Rise at dusk. Sleep at sunrise.
I can hear still hear the extended dance versions of some of those those songs all be-bopping all night long in Fat City
