Time to get a new recliner.
Current La-Z-Boy is done and it’s been solid for 20 years. Prefer leather but the pricing is all over the place.
Suggestions on a durable leather recliner would be great.
Budget $1,000-$1,500

I have my leather one that I bought in 1999 in front of me right now. Why replace it if it works?

Be ready for a six month lead time. Just got ours we ordered in November.

Do they have an excuse for the delay? I could drive to 3 furniture centers within 10 minutes and get an equivalent to take home today. Not that I will ever get rid of old reliable.

La-Z-Boy is notorious for scheduling a time that is far out and then moving it around on you. They’ll say lead time and supply chain issues but unless you’re buying a floor model expect to wait. It is good quality when you get it though.

Flexsteel from Bellelo’s. Tell Don to give you the hometown New Roads price.

I have a cloth Lay- Z Boy recliner/rocker from about 1987 or 8. Does need to be recovered, but it is tucked back in our bedroom now. Just can’t get rid of it - all our kids were rocked in that thing. Still works perfectly and is very comfortable.

I have had LaZ-Boy recliners for years. But the current one's that I bought in 2021 are not built as good as the past one's were. I have two cushions in mine being it has sunk so much.

Man, go down to H&H furniture in Lecompte and get yourself a Flexsteel recliner. That’s what I will do within the next week.
