I haven't seen any talk about it on here so SIAP but it appears the Houthis are disrupting trade at this other critical strait. Should be worth noting that a slightly different variety of products flows through here. Manufactured goods, some crude oil.

Also worth noting that there are more alternate routes so this would cause shipping delays and not be as severe as the Hormuz choke point. Just more chaos and fronts of the war to contend with.

I wouldn’t worry, Trump planned for all of this.

Yes I suspect this time it's directly related to the current conflict

The Saudis have been chomping at the bit to have a go against the Houthis. Trump may let them have at it.

I should sure hope so. If he didn't anticipate all of this happening he would have to be clueless.

Didnt the Saudis stop them in their tracks when the Houthis were headed to the capital to overthrow the government about 10 years ago?

Of course....

At this point though we can't change anything. We just have to hope things conclude in the best way possible

That sounds right. The Houthis do have some more impressive missile technology now. I don't know what type of stockpile I hey have though.

The Houthis could invade KSA and launch an insurgency against the Saudi royal family and I still wouldn’t give a shite.

KSA is arguably just as bad if not worse than the IRGC when it comes to massively restricting freedom of speech, crushing political dissent, and persecuting religious minorities. They only get a pass because we just so happen to be allies with them for oil. frick that country.

Trump should have consulted you first, in fact he should just appoint you to his cabinet.

Great news.

The countries who own the ships going through there better get off their asses do something about that.

I hope they attack indiscriminately.

Number one, I wasn’t talking to you. But now that I guess I am, yes, yes y’all do. And no amount of what you might think is subtle, passive aggressive condescension and dismissiveness towards Trump and this situation/event is going to conceal those true feelings. And to state the obvious, not all of you display it the same - some are more obvious than others.
