Does anyone remember back when they had that bug where a simple play action caused all the DB's to peel off leaving all WRs wide open?

was online for about 2 weeks before they fixed it.

You had to literally agree to not PA pass with your opponent

But the moment they started losing. . .

I think it was NCAA(could have been Madden) back around 2010

I opened this really hoping you were talking about the Reverse Play Glitch on John Elway's Football for the NES. I had to make a rule with my brother's that no one could call this play. You could literally run circles around the defense all quarter long and run down the clock.

It's crazy what memory does with these older games. I don't remember this looking that bad.

I remember figuring out that play and thought I was just really good at the game.

I want to say 14 almost had that as a feature with their setup system. Get a first down or two with a running play out of a certain formation and the PA pass would be "setup" out of that formation. Basically unguardable when it was. The whole defense would bite.

Not a glitch but a buddy and I used to play online using VT when Darren Evans and Ryan Williams were the backs, and Marcus Vick or Tyrod was QB and run the triple option but out of the I-formation. It was an easy 3+ yards every time and you could control the clock so easy

In NFL '95 there was a TE for the Giants, Aaron Pierce, that you could put at RB. He was unable to be tackled. I had a ton of fun as a 9 year old starting every drive at the 1 and just handing it off to him.

I remember wayyyy back in the day, can’t remember if it was Madden or NFL QB Club but you could replay a scoring play and each time you replayed the scoring aspect it counted the points to your actual game score. I believe even the stats counted too.

My older brother and I, on one of those Madden games on console, could run a toss sweep… only if the second player controlled the RB they could blast past the line of scrimmage before the QB tossed the ball. It was scripted though so the RB always caught it. Huge, easy gains.

Atari football had the glitch where if you ran out the back of your own endzone it was a TD for you
