UGA sweeping MS St was big.

Otherwise it’s a log jam. LSU is in a good spot.

We should be sitting at 8-4.

1 pitch away from taking 2/3 at Vandy

Bullpen mismanagement against OU.

Could does not mean should. It’s baseball the margins are small and every team in America could make similar claims.

LSU has a better SEC record and overall record than #15 Arkansas

That’s right! Also, anyone thinking LSU Fighting Tiger Baseball should take 2 at old miss is kidding themselves. Old Miss will play us tougher than anybody! The series could go either way.

My guess is Pete Golding will throw out the first pitch in game 1

You could say that but we also have had games like Friday where, had we been on the bad side of a game like that, you’d prob say we should have won.

We could be 8-4 but we could also be 4-8. Baseball tends to work itself out with the law of averages. You can’t just take every close loss we had and discount the late come back wins we’ve also had. Any of those games could have gone either way.

It's baseball, 10 of 16 teams are within 1 game of .500. It's a good spot if the standard is making the tournament I guess

Not too ideal to be in that logjam with a lot of mid before we play Top 20 RPI teams in 5 of our 6 remaining series though

3 of our last 4 games were huge late comebacks. We could easily be 3-9. I like the direction we are going but this is such a dumb statement.

Friday was our only close in-conference win.

Normally there are a bunch of give or take games and you split them. This year, we had lost every give or take game until Friday.

Everything you said is true, but we’ve also been a bad team defensively so we could have more losses. At this point I’ll take 6-6

Doesn't work like that. We also could have easily been swept this weekend. Friday we absolutely stole the win, today 1 clean fielded play away from losing. Take 2/3 at home and don't get swept on the road.

We just flipped that math and are back on track for 15-15. Sweep the cocks at home or steal.another road series and we're flirting with a host.

On the otherside of that logic, we were a wind gust on Friday and a clean flip to second today from getting swept.

Meaningless to play the if/than game, 6-6 is more than fair for this team.
