Fears vs. Acuff / Queen vs. Boozer

Ok, let me state the obvious - the trade was unbelievably dumb... even though I really love both rookies, the process was flawed.
With that said, I think we will come out of this in good shape. Let's say the pick ends up 4-6. You are looking at Boozer or Acuff. I think Fears is going to be a better player than Acuff(better athlete/ defender...Acuff is a slightly better shooter), and I really wouldn't be surprised if Queen turns out better than Boozer.
Also despite the hype, I think the 25 class is going to end is being as good as 26.
With that said, I think we will come out of this in good shape. Let's say the pick ends up 4-6. You are looking at Boozer or Acuff. What does fears or Acuff have to do with the queen trade?
You could've had both Acuff and Fears. Or maybe fears and boozer.
You also lost the 23rd pick. The problem with queen is his athleticism and defense. And I actually like queen but his defense and athleticism are going to be problems going forward.

Fears pick was independent of queen. I was actually disappointed mid year with him, but the bench and Veterans like Murray seemingly helped him grow. He's the future star of this team as we progress.
Queen has potential to be sengun, he has 2 years to fill into nba shape IMHO if he can, we can contend if we do this right.
Move zion and Murray at some point. Retain Bey. Build up like Portland and sas have done

I think Queen can be 75% Sengun. When Sengun is healthy, he is one of the most athletic/quick/vertical centers in the league. His highlight reel of dunks in the past 2 weeks is about as long as Zion's in the past 7 years. He's just a different athlete than Queen. Also, when Sengun was in year 3, he was still younger than Year 1 Queen.
Now they do both have some similarities, don't get me wrong. I just don't think Queen can get to Sengun's ceiling. Sengun is a fast, bouncy Jokic about 10 games a year.

Because in 2 years he shows potential or we should rightfully move on and not double down on giving him an extension or an expensive option like we've done for Hawkins.

Boozer will develop more of a jumper so he's not all barrel to the basket but I don't think he's that special.
