If we keep that up, then great. But all pitcher except Schmidt have regressed. Never seen an LSU staff struggle to throw strikes like they have this season

Wrong. Cowan is back to what he was last season. Fontenot barely played last season and is one of the more reliable arms out of the pen. Lach has looked good in this last 2-3 stints. Williams seems to be back on track now. Garcia has been more good than bad.
Rizy was about the same last year. Guidry didn’t pitch for a season. Noot has been up and down his entire career. Most of the guys who are struggling besides them are new guys.
I guess you can say Evans has regressed, but he was also in a completely different role last year.
Pitching has improved as the season has progressed every year, and a few guys are starting to show signs of that again now.

I don’t think it happens. But I’d happy to see it. Brown can play 1B but no telling how long it’s been since practiced it. Braun could play OF with JB at 1B. But I’d be happy if Yamin got a legit chance to play there. And by legit, I mean two full games. Not start the game and get removed for a pinch hitter in his second trip to the plate.
