The swamp is being drained despite the panicians best efforts to get us all in a panic.

And I’m fairly certain that the level of productivity is unaffected by this change.

Great. That won't even come close to putting a dent into the massive defense budget increases he is requesting.

You think you won something. You haven't won shite.

If not for fiscal reasons what's the big cause to celebrate about a shrinking government workforce?

Exactly. Many on this board have been fooled into thinking that low level GS-5 clerical workers in the federal government are out to get them so they cheer these people losing their jobs which is the equivalent of a rounding error on a spreadsheet in regards to saving any meaningful money.

Good. There were a lot of no work jobs in the government. Mostly for the Dems favorite demographic.

Removing low level lemmings from the payroll is not draining the swamp.

When you see Podesta, Comey and people being imprisoned for the 2020 stolen election, then you can say draining the swamp has begun.

This seems like the most obvious thing of all time

So obvious that it shouldn't require explanation. But here we are.

If that reduction in numbers has occurred with no noticeable decreases in services provided that’s not a bad thing.

Unless there’s a reason you feel that extra bloat was/is still necessary, I’d call that a nice win for efficiency.

When those "efficiencies" are dwarfed by a super massive black hole of defense spending increases they aren't really worth talking about

Well since you brought it up many federal, state and local gubment jobs were turned into a jobs program for minorities and women many years ago and it just kept getting worse every year.

I saw it on a daily basis in the service for 20 yrs. Go to certain state agencies and there is no way to miss it.

Black females hold way more jobs like this than their % of the overall population of the country. The last report I saw said black females hold 12% of federal jobs but they only make up 5% of the population.

These are not just low level jobs being cut either as you said in your other post.

Some people were pissed we weren't just adding government jobs to prop up the numbers.

Even if it was just a bloated jobs program, that doesn't have zero value to society

And when the cuts are dwarfed by other increases, what have you really won?

How many in your family are part of the bloat?

You sound like Pelosi when she said welfare stimulates the economy.
