His points are valid. You proved it by calling him a fig instead of addressing it. Which is sort of ironic because the reason you're doing it is because you're obsessed with another man. Makes you wonder who the fig really is.

We were not actively at war with Iran in the sense that they were directly attacking us. Have they tried to undermine our interests in the region? Sure. I don't think anyone questions that.
As far as them actively waging a war. That's stuff that some really dumb people might fall for. I have some faith that doesn't apply to you.

The fact is that Trump has been consistent about Iran, even when he was a private citizen
Being against unwindable wars that we go into without the resolve to finish what we started is far different from striking and acting in America’s interests
Trump did not go back on his word, he never promised to capitulate and he never promised that military action was off the table
a bunch of figs whining and manipulating past statements is not the gotcha that you seem to think it is

How about spitting facts about how your Presidents Obama and Biden gave Iran hundreds of billions of dollars to build up their nuclear, missile and drone operation because they hate Israel?

It's ok for Trump to have been critical of being in the Middle East and then going in himself now. You see, as POTUS he has to deal with the bullshite others have handed him. And, as the OP shows, he has long since said he would be willing to deal with Iran.
He took office, the situation presented itself, and he did what he always said he would do.
Now, perhaps if previous POTUSes hasn't been doing what they had done, he wouldn't have to do what he is now doing. See how that works?
And yes, no matter how much you want to pretend they haven't been, Iran has been attacking our interests and our soldiers for damn near 50 years now.
