@JonathanTurley
: the policy is “perfectly insane” — and even liberal justices suddenly rediscovered “original intent” when it suits them.
This isn’t settled law. It’s a debate we’ve avoided for decades.

If the SCOTUS doesn't decide to end birthright citizenship for illegal immigrants and wealthy foreigners flying into the US to drop their babies it's mainly because they will once again have to admit their past rulings and precedent is wrong......they don't want to be wrong because it erodes their credibility.

It’s not a moronic nation… it’s moronic politicians looking for voters from shlt hole countries.
Trust me, WE the people are not doing this to ourselves.

Unfortunately SCOTUS won't do what's best for this nation, because it's best.
This decision definitely makes it breaks the future of our nation and culture.

The Federalist nerds think the Constitution is a suicide pact.

Yeah they do. "being right" is more important than "what's right".

We are suicidal and moronic because we are suicidal.

Turley is a prophet. If the SC votes this down then it is over. Revelation is right.

The Supreme Court will 100% rule against Trump’s EO.
The real question is when does the country cease functioning?
It won’t be just because of illegal immigration. But it will play a role.

You can’t have unlimited immigration with free money. This is death.

You can’t have 50% of the population not paying Federal income taxes while requiring the other 50% to pay trillions.
I pay $600/mo to my county just for the privilege of owning property. I pay over 9% sales tax. I pay well over 20% effective federal tax. I pay another few percent in Missouri income taxes.
And that level of taxation means that more prosperous people have fewer kids. And fewer kids means we’re not replacing ourselves. Which means our overlords will take every disease infested kiddie fricking Venezuelan into this country as long as he’ll work the roofing crew under someone else’s social security number.
Our country died somewhere in the 60s or 70s and we’re in the unenviable position of sitting around and watching the body cool off.

Well Trump can't complain because he's picked some of these people that would have to vote against him

Tou stupid mother fricker, China pays women to come over here to give birth, then move back to China with their "citizen". Literally hundreds of organizations do it.

From what I’ve read, including the Congressional Report on the issue, is that the few businesses that actually do this charge as much as $30k or more and typically serve less than 100 people a year. Many of the businesses that did this closed after the 2020 regulations went into effect. So while it exists, it is not a large number of people, and only caters to the rich.
Also, it seems that Republican Florida is the main place for this.
Since we are talking about a small number of businesses providing a specific service, this business could be tightly controlled or closed down by ordinary business regulations or Congressional action.
This is not an argument to change the Constitution.
