No issue bothers me quite like the current interpretation of the 14th Amendment

We are over-taxed, but we have been for about 4 generations, and that makes it all somewhat "fair" in my mind. I hate abortion, but I rarely encounter it on a daily basis, and it is effectively outlawed in the South. Democrats have cheated in local and national elections since the dawn of time. This isn't the first time that a president has involved our military in a foreign conflict, and it won't be the last.

None of that is "new" to me.

However - I am particularly appalled by the idea that any child born in the US, no matter their nationality, is entitled to the same voting rights and protections as my children who are US citizens.

That is asinine, and it robs my children.

The children of foreigners are not "subject to the jurisdiction" of the United States.

"Current" as in almost 130 years old?

The majority of the time that we have existed as a country has relied on this interpretation.

Straight white Christians are the most persecuted people in this country.

This is another attack on us.

You're correct, but there are a number of morons on this board, who consider themselves intellectuals, who will disagree with you.

ETA: One of these morons already responded to you.

This is even more incorrect than OP's statement. I don't think even the current admin argues that lawful permanent residents can't give birth to citizens.

It bothers you because our bought and paid for politicians should have amended or abolished the 14th amendment 75 years ago. There is no way the rat bastards who call themselves "lawmakers" did not know the consequences of unfettered mass illegal immigration.

The only way this constitutional republic/nation is saved is a literal purge of the Imperial Capital and the abolishment of the DC Uniparty System.

current - adjective meaning "belonging to the present time; happening or being used or done now."

For me it is reading this and thinking any jabroni can own an AR-15 and walk into a school zone with it.

The drafters of the 14th amendment should have been more detailed about it.

We weren't a post-modern, "diverse" society at the time so they couldn't have possibly predicted we'd be overrun with third world leeches a century later.

Truly, no one has it as hard as the straight white Christian. They struggle every day.

It wasn't as big an issue before people could move around the world with ease but combined with that modern ability it will usher in the destruction of the Republic and the Constitution that so many here are claiming to uphold.

The actual defenders of the Constitution understand that there's a process to amend it and that's the proper way to solve this problem

During the debates over the 14th amendment they considered exclusions on gypsies and Chinese because they were seen as transient losers with no allegiance to the US. They rejected those exclusions.

The odds of an Amendment in our current divisive state is about 1%.

That's right we should be like UAE where immigrants can live in the country for multiple generations with no path to citizenship.

I agree with you in principle for those that are here illegally.
