Hot off the press, lads

1.8 EDGE David Bailey is a total unit. He’s got the pace to leave offensive tackles looking like their boots are stuck in the pitch... pure magic off the edge.

2.59 CB Davison Igbinosun is going to be top bins in coverage. He’s a cheeky defender who’ll bait quarterbacks into a bad throw and then nick the ball for a pick-six. Total baller move.

3.69 Guard Gennings Dunker is the kind of gaffer on the line you need. He’ll put in a hard graft in the trenches, making sure the pocket is tidy so our Tyler doesn't end up in a total shambles

4.73 WR Ted Hurst is the quintessential "diamond in the rough" for this draft. After moving up from Division II Valdosta State, he didn't just compete at Georgia State—he absolutely bossed it.

4.90 TE Oscar Delp at tight end is a deadly addition. In the red zone, he’s going to be clinical. Give him an inch and he’ll smash it home for six points, leaving the defense looking gutted.

If the front office manages to bottle this level of talent in the draft, the Saints will be flying. It’ll be a cracking season for the lads in New Orleans, and honestly, the rest of the NFC South is looking a bit rubbish in comparison.

I don’t hate the players you picked. But you traded away a lot of our picks in the process.

You drafted Delp at 90, what did you get in return for the 42nd pick?

That's weird because if we had (5) picks in the Top 90 I'd be estatic and then simultaneously pissed off if we draft these dudes. The pick positions are the best thing in this mock.

Instead of giving up #42 it would be better to give up our '27 2nd to get the 3rds from MIA. Keep #42 and give them '27 2nd/ etcc for #75/#94

If I have it right, the Saints have picks 8, 42, 73, 132, 136, 150, 172, and 190.

He drafted at 8, 59, 69, 73, 90, and 172.

8, 73, and 172 were ours.

59 & 69 are from the Texans for 42 and 190.

90 is from the Dolphins for 132, 136, 150.

That’s not who I would have picked in the later rounds, but those are good prospects. It kind of depends on who was available at the time.

I don't like losing picks either. I feel if we are able to get Baily that's great, but I see us going offense in the second.
