Civil War
It won’t be. Just like Australia, the people will fold.

Looks like a great analysis.
Bit much for me to read tonight. But I'll check back in tomorrow morning with a cup of coffee and at least an hour to burn.

I don't know .... I don't think so .... not this time.
Alberta his the 177k petition threshold for a succession vote on Saturday.
Saskatchewan is having a very very low compliance rate with their registration and voluntary surrender program.
Even BC is starting to resist.
This has more of a feel of something happening than Australia ever did. Perhaps the westerners are more genetically predispositioned to be anti-establishment. Perhaps they know Trump has their backs. I'm not sure.
I've got friends in Saskatchewan and Alberta. It really sounds to me, from them and from what I've been told and from what I've been reading daily ... that something different is happening up there.
My Brother in Law is a RCB guy in NC. He says they're having daily internal discussions and strategy sessions role playing various scenarios.
He seems to think that this gun confiscation, being disguised as a buyback, is going to be the proverbial straw that causes the west to break away from the east.

Only 2% of gun owners participated in Canada's buy back program. Now Canada says they will send police to gun owners homes to collect their firearms.
What I haven't read is how law enforcement will react when a gun owner tells em they aren't giving up their firearms.

And absolutely NONE of the gun control types see the irony in this.

Our law enforcement would start shooting. “Just taking orders, sir.”

Nancy Reagan was right, all along.

Yeah, I heard. But rarely get to use it. But I think it means the opposite of what I implied.

They have the suspension of bank accounts option they used on the truckers. Though doing it to gun owners for not turning them in can really really pop things off. Weak soyboy and Karen politicians up there will need to have their head on a swivel. Especially that foreigner in charge of implementing this.

I wouldn’t describe the position as anti-establishment. Having the freedom to defend yourself and your family is an innate thing, it’s in your bone marrow, and without that you are a serf to anyone willing to ignore the law, and waiting for the government to protect you makes you a serf to government.
I once heard someone describe a Colt King Cobra 357 magnum as the perfect equalizer between a 97 pound housewife and a 300 pound attacker. And, it is.

They will kill the guys who don't give them up. They will go to their houses one by one. Those who don't give them up or try to fight back, well, there was a reasonable threat for the police shoot.

Doesn’t matter.
You didn’t squander the opportunity.
You keep that word in your pocket and it HAS to come out when you get the chance.

You don’t fight police at your house.
You fight police at theirs.
You fight police at theirs.
