I dont have e a candidate and I agree we needed a new coach. It seems the selection process was completed before it began. I hope that WW can do better in the tough SEC than did in the ACC...he won 53% of his conference games at 10 and 8. My hopes are high that he does better but my expectations are not in sync...

He took over a team that won 25% of their games in the ACC. And took them to the NCAA tournament. You expected him to just come in and wreck the conference? What? Lol

In 4 years we had 3 NCAA tourny appearances. Ill take that over what we've had the last 5 years.

People act like post history doesn’t exist. Over half of your last 20 posts are opinion based anti-Wade, with no real perspective or context.

They’re Woodward loyalists. Lots of them here.

Wade also brings excitement back to a dead program. Basketball is the only other money maker besides football, LSU was leaving money on the table at a time you need all the money you can get. Wade fixes that.

WW won 64% of his games at LSU during his first tenure...and got us in the tourney routinely....

Because you don’t watch and don’t care.

Everyone did, they raised a ton of money(close to Duke and UNC) and were picked to finish 4th in the ACC. According to most people on this board, you don’t get “excuses” with NIL. Lots of coaches come in and dominate year 1. He didn’t. So stop having all that perspective man.

Comparing an NCAA tourney birth to the worst record in program history is really logical and objective.

And he made the NCAAT in year 1. The people saying "you don't get excuses with NIL" were referencing a coach who finished dead last in the SEC 2 out of 4 seasons.

His standards did a 180 based on which coach he likes more. That coach happens to be the worst to ever do it here. Very strange

I heard a stat on the radio today about him. Since he has been coaching college, he has won 73% of his conference games. That’s pretty good.

Been watching and caring since the pistol played. I was a student through dale browns intro. I'm sorry if I offended any of the rant with my opinion of wade. ..which is- he is a good coach, but he will never be mentioned with the great coaches. I expect he will be remembered as a good coach and win 18-22 games a year... we will be respected as a tough team who plays hard.
