Need a new toilet.

Which is the best? Residential use.

Toto is the best. Pricey though.

I have a Kohler Highline in the main bath. Been very happy with it. Actually clogged it last week for first time in the 3 years I've had it. Was kinda proud of myself tbh.

I'm a big fan of the pressure assist toilets.

When we bought our house 20 years ago, all 4 toilets used the Flushmate tank insert.

We loved it so much, we've replaced each tank insert with a new model to keep a good thing going.

It's like riding a Harley. The flush is so satisfying and efficient. Our toilets are Gerbers. No complaints.

I can vouch for the Toto Ultramax. I’m on year 20 with the three I bought.

Thread reminded me of this…

Also, I think toto has a model with a charcoal odor filter system. If that actually works well, it would a game changer and worth almost any price.

My wife and I have separate toilet rooms in our master bathroom.

THAT is the real game changer

Added on a bidet and it’s my favorite spot in the house

Just get the oval 18.5 instead of the round 16.5 inch.

I don’t care about the claims the companies make, my wife has not met a toilet she cannot clog.

I went with three American Standard Champion Pro toilets. Don't know about the whole flushing a bucket of golf balls thing but I haven't clogged any of them yet....

We went with Toto Drake many years ago and have been happy with them.

Thankfully, someone told me at the time to get a tall model. If I encounter an old short toilet now, I feel like it's an Asian squat hole.

I also got the Drake with ADA height for our MB. some in the house are std height and they do feel like a kiddie commode.

however, my feet aren't really solidly planted on the ground. my wife's aren't even close. we both need a foot stool (but don't use one)
