The eerie symbiotic relationship between LSU and North Carolina has once again shown itself with the return of Will Wade as Tiger basketball coach. The balance sheet has clearly favored LSU:

Press Maravich hired as basketball coach and he brought along a pretty good player

Nelson Isley transferred to LSU for his last season and became an All SEC basketball player

Al Green transferred to LSU and was an All SEC player on Dale Brown’s first SEC championship team

Bo Rein was hired as LSU Football coach from N C State in 1980, but died in a plane crash on a recruiting trip and never coached a game for the Tigers

Tommy “Tanks” White was a key member of the LSU national championship baseball team in 2023 after hitting a dramatic game winning homerun to propel the Tigers to the finals

Ralston Turner from Muscle Shoals , AL transferred from LSU to N C State and contributed to the Wolfpack last second victory over LSU in the 2014 NCAA tourney

N C State safety Tamarcus Cooley transferred to LSU and is a starter

Former long time LSU softball assistant Lindsey Leftwich is now N C State head coach

Guard Cam Hayes left NC State and was a starter on Matt McMahon's first team which upset Arkansas in the SEC opener lifitning S from a cloud of moribundity despite the draconian state of the program

Tight end Thad Moss transferred from N C SAtate to join Joe Burrow and theh Tigers for the 2019 championship run, and th eson of Randy Moss made several big catches in the playoffs and also an increible huge catch vs Alabama

They need to get NC State's hitting coach, because right now they suck.

You're grasping at straws with some of these links. If you're going to list all this stuff, then you might as well go all-out and list other things like NC State later hired Mike Archer as defensive coordinator, former NC State player and coach Ray Tanner hired Mainieri while being athletic director at South Carolina, etc...

The Archer connec tion has merit, The Manieri hire at S. C. has no connection between the two schools. You might think its grasping at straws but why dont you provide similar connections where significant individuals are connected to the same school like this to show its not unusual. Or else shut the frick up.

I have never been opposed to Wade and have often posted in defense of him. I have consistently noted the NCAA, to this day, has not proven a single violation by Wade. They clearly know Calipari, Coach K, Roy Wil;liams and all of their ilk committed far more egregious vioolations than anything Wade was accused of. I understand his termination for not meeting with the administration. I hope he brings the program to new heights.

Yeah, they might score 18 runs if they had him.

Their assistant AD is from Louisiana, an LSU grad, and worked for TAF.

During his time at LSU, he helped lead philanthropic efforts exceeding $250 million, executed major facility campaigns, secured transformational planned gifts, and oversaw premium seating initiatives.

A graduate of LSU with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology (1999) and a master’s degree (2001), Broussard was a member of the school’s club rugby team. He has been active nationally with the National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD), serving on its executive committee and as President in 2020-21.

With as lopsided as it is I’d say it’s borderline parasitic on our part.

There was also that time NC State 100% ripped and plagiarized Dan Borne’s Tiger Stadium poem and passed it off as their own for basketball. “When the sun finds its home in the EASTERN sky.” Dumbasses

McMahon’s first team had Cam Hayes. His outside shot would either be pure as frick or hit nothing but glass.

So he either made the opponents moribund or he was a draconian burden for the Tigers. Thanks for the heads up I will add it to the original.
