How was she able to get out of the cuffs so easily?
If that happened to my house (I know it was a foreclosure that was up for sale), not sure I would call the cops.

The 7-year period is “with title,” as she herself screams, which means she would have needed a (practically speaking) recorded deed of the property to her.
She either forged something (likely committing multiple felonies) or doesn’t understand what “with title” means.
Without a deed, she would be under the 20-year statute.
The 7-year statute is basically a burden- shifting provision favoring a deed holder who’s in open, notorious, and uninterrupted possession of the property.
There are various legit scenarios where this statute is helpful. This is not one of them. Understatement.

I do. But I didn’t. I have been practicing RE law for 25 years including in Florida.
Eta: here’s an example of a case I handled: a hobby club owns a building. It was deeded as a gift from a late member. Bobby club was not incorporated at the time of the gift. Later incorporated. Club wants to sell building. The grantor is dead. Grantor’s son is a piece of shite and is threatening to claim rights in the property.
Used quiet title action and adverse possession by incorporated club to get clean title in incorporated club’s name.
Higher stakes example on other side: client has huge valuable chunk of land. Adjacent hunt club has been using a road through it and claims prescriptive easement rights that would screw up development plans. This was 15 years ago so details are fuzzy. We settled but the hunters had a decent claim.
