Forever wars

People always go back to 2003 with Iraq and act like we didnt deploy to the desert before that. Like we just left after 1991 and went back in 2003. For all those that are not military, we never left. We stayed in 1991 and it was a part of a regular rotation. I had friends injured in Khobar Towers in 1996. 19 USAF soldiers died in Khobar towers. You know who blew those towers up? Iran. Even outside of those deployments you are going somewhere. Whether its Syria, North Africa, Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, South America or Asia. Mogadishu happened under Clinton in the 90s. There are constantly military actions taking place world wide everyday of every year. You may not hear about them but they are happening.

We've been doing it for decades. That's kinda the point of the backlash against the war in Iran. We're 40 trillion in debt, rising unemployment and cost of living, and our economic prospects look pretty grim, especially for young people. Instead of blowing what little treasure we have left on Israel, let's turn our attention our problems at home which seem to be completely ignored by this administration.

You almost went the entire post without blaming Israel. So close.

That was 30 years ago. They are not a threat to us today and they would not have done this with Trump in the White House (until he started bombing them).

We are not doing this for Israel and what do you mean by a threat to us? A threat to you. They are most definitely a threat to the US soldiers. They have attacked US soldiers over 350 times since 2021. Hezbollah is an Iranian proxy. Didn't one of them just commit a terrorist attack in Michigan? Also everyone thinks that Iran needs an ICBM to hit someone with a nuke. No they don't, they just need a suicide bomber.

Also Iran attacked the consulate in Erbil before the midnight hammer bombings in June of 2025. The Iranian proxies attacked different military and civilian targets 200 times from January 2025 to June 2025. So yes Iran and its proxies were attacking the US before midnight hammer and leading up to Trump putting a stop to it.

The CIA and FBI stopped 15 terror attacks from radical islamists terrorists on US soil last year. They also stopped 18 terror attacks planned for US soil from Iran outside of the US before they ever made it here and the American people are completely oblivious to it.

Thats unrealistic. We are the world Hegemony. They are going to keep using the military until they can't any longer. I don't understand why more people aren't upset with Israel dragging us into the war. From what I understand. Netanyahu made Trump believe that Iran was going to be a cake walk and fall quickly. It's more that Israel is manipulating the US military in accomplishing their conquest of the Middle East.

What are you talking about? In 2 weeks Iran's Navy and Air Force ceases to exist. This is an arse whooping of epic proportions. It blows my mind how naive people are. After October 7th Israel was going to do this with or without the U.S.

This is one of the most ignorant post I have seen this week.. From what you understand.
You have sources?

Regime change won’t be accomplished. My guess is that Bibi convinced Trump that if all their top people were killed the regime would collapse. Trump should have known better.

So, they planned on waiting until the next limp wristed Dem was in power,,,,THEN they would strike us. Gotcha.

And some Iranian missiles just took out a couple of AWACS planes that were parked in Saudi Arabia.

Heres the deal dude, there are two things that are 100% factual. 1) none of us truly know everything that went into the operation and no one can say with any level of credibility that they know for a fact why the US launched this op. 2) the people who are convinced all of this happened because Israel this or Israel that will NOT be convinced otherwise. There will be no minds changed. If a person has decided that Israel dragged us into this war and BiBi tricked Trump, nothing said will change their minds. Whichever side of the issue people fall on, 95% of them will not be looking at data and evidence with an open mind, they’ll only look at it to confirm their own narrative.

Nah. The backlash is mostly because OMB, then amplified by the willing accomplice media, then soft brained “conservatives” falling for the media drum beat.

If it was an “arse whooping of epic proportions” this war would have ended weeks ago. Instead, Hormuz is blocked and Bab el-Mandeb strait is likely to be next as the Houthi’s entered the war.

I suppose you and I would define a whoopin very differently. I’ve said from the beginning that im willing to let things play out. If it drags for 5-6 months, it would be much different for me than if it just lasted 6-8 weeks.
