Look

If nobody else gets hurt; and
Every decent player rebounds/has their best career year; and
All the scraps we've picked up give us their very last ounce of quality baseball; and
The additions who had brief peaks last year for the first time in several seasons miraculously do it again and sustain it for a full season; then

we're probably going to be good.

I saw someone in the media mention this the other day, the biggest indictment on how badly AA has mismanaged the roster post-2021 is that the Braves have had an MVP and a Cy Young in the last five years but have gotten progressively worse as a team each year with those players still on the team.

GTFO
At one point during the season all five opening day starters were on the 60 day IL, and the Braves finished only five games under .500, with two 7 game losing streaks thrown in the mix.

You poor thing.

Look at it realistically. We did nothing to improve our offense or rotation this year, we're already shockingly dealing with a lot of injuries. The Phillies and Mets are top to bottom better teams than us, so we're fighting with the Marlins for 3rd in the East.

It's hard to take serious the take that the two teams that finished higher than us in the division last year and improved their rosters with FA spending in the offseason are ahead of us?

That's a you problem fam.

Is this not the broad consensus across sports media?

You’re not going to sway all the nega Braves.

The pitching is an uphill climb atm and will need some young guys to step up. Adding Kim, dubon, and yaz did help the lineup depth but the main guys have to start earning their money.

Mets have to be the favorites right now but they definitely have some warts just like the Phils.

Looking forward to seeing Baldwin have a monster season and for Fuentes to establish himself.

We don't have a third starter listed for opening weekend because of injuries

Kim wasn't added to the roster (and is also out for 3-4 months), Dubon is a UI and Yaz likely won't even be in the opening day lineup because of his historically bad splits vs LHPs. None of those guys move the needle.

Based on the spring training injuries, feels a lot like the past two years but Ronnie did just win the WBC so thinking division champs.

Sale throwing 9 innings of shut out ball.

Acuña ia going to hit for the cycle.

Riley is going to hit a grand slam.

Ozzie is going to turn an unassisted triple play.

Braves by 50.

Let’s see if the best squad in spring training can keep it going. Spring means nothing, but it was good to see the team get rolling for Walt.

Just avoiding an 0-7 start like last year will be a win in my book

The starting lineup, for the most part, is OK but we need a DH. I'm not too keen on our bench. Our bullpen will be OK. Our starting pitching is a nightmare.

Nah. I think not having a full-time DH will allow some of our oft-injured guys to rest when needed. Also gives us a lot of lineup flexibility.

I'm going to try and be positive.....

I think Drake Baldwin kicks it into overdrive and gives a great season.

Ozzie should be at least as good as the last year or two -- if not better.

Acuna looks ready to roll.

We ran Nick Allen out there forever last season and we should get way better production from Dubon/Kim, etc.

They have a chance.....
