Texas scores 7 earned runs on 10 hits in 2 innings against the guy LSU could not hit

Oklahoma started LJ Mercurius in place of Cam Johnson tonight. LSU had only 2 runs and 4 hits in 5.1 innings against him last Friday.
Texas had 10 hits, 7 runs in 2.0 innings and made him face 17 batters and throw 63 pitches.
Texas leads 14-0 in the bottom of the sixth.
Maybe Texas is that good, but OU is not as good as LSU made them look.
Or one less day of rest did not work out for Mercurius??

Oklahoma is a pretty solid team. Texas is an elite team at this stage. One game doesn’t mean Oklahoma is not good.

LSU fans used to take pride in being the most college baseball educated fans in America, because it was true.
Now LSU baseball fans have become the most emotionally driven hysterical wrecks in the nation, much like our football fanbase. Sad.
Before you respond with what you think makes sense, something along the lines of…”is what I posted incorrect? Show your stats that prove what I’m saying is wrong, dur hur hur”
You’ve never played competitive baseball past the age of 10, and you just started paying attention to college baseball in 2023.

Nope. I’m just stating facts.

Texas is really good this year. We still have room to grow but this team is just not as talented as last year and some of these guys don’t look the part
