A Bad Robot/JJ Abrams production, written and directed by David Robert Mitchell (It Follows). Releases August 14th in IMAX.

A family notices strange things in their 80s neighborhood, which is then seemingly transported to the age of dinosaurs after a thunderstorm.

I’ve always loved dinosaur movies, and now with cgi they look more real than ever before! I just hope it has a good story line to go with it!

The director of It Follows and Under the Silver Lake had to make a Speilberg rip off for JJ Abrams to get out of director jail. Bummer.

I’m surprised JJ is getting his name attached to anything after Rise of Skywalker disaster

There wasn’t a director/writer alive (or dead) that could salvage the trilogy after Rian Johnson fumbled TLJ.
There’s a lot of online speculation this is in the Cloverfield universe so JJ and Bad Robot make sense.

Unless McGregor's character is injured or needs his hands free to use a weapon, there's no way he'd be in the passenger seat to his wife in the 1980s.

Hathaway, dinosaurs… in.
Oh wait, the Dinos roar?
Woke!
I’m out.

When they start throwing back to the 90s that's gonna be weird. The 80s time frame is overdone. I'll still probably check this out. Just an observation.

Mystery box!!!!!!
Could be good, though. Hopefully JJ Abrams isn’t too involved.

Just based on the trailer, he is not the head of that household.
