So, when did LSU fire Matt McMahon, what am i missing?
Just what I thought, none of you loud mouth can say when he was fired or when he is going to be fired.
will it be tonight, tomorrow...Oh I guess it will be after WW gets off that plane that went to NC today

The powers that be (Not the AD) basically went above the head of the AD and made a move. MM is essentially cucked. The actions say LSU does not want him anymore. Yet they are/were going to keep him around as a backup in case things fell through.
I’d be a little miffed if I were MM. But the reality is he has no better financial opportunity in the marketplace than staying or being fired by LSU. That’s why he’s been sitting in the corner just watching his “wife” (in a job sense) openly pursue someone else

Its pretty obvious what LSU is doing.....
McMahon will only be fired if LSU gets Wade back.
Wade has a $5M buyout if he leaves NC State for another job, but that buyout drops to $3M as of April 1.
LSU is content to wait a week to save $2M on the buyout they would owe NSCU.
LSU isn't firing McMahon until the Wade deal can be finalized, just in case NCSU makes a strong arse offer that convinces him to stay put or in case some other school with an opening decides to pursue Wade and we end up missing out. If we miss out on Wade, then LSU is retaining McMahon. UNC job is open and potentially Kansas. I doubt that either of them target WW, but the school that loses their current coach to KU or UNC may end up being interested.
