Joining Ted's Frostop as another place that nobody ever seemed to go to, but for which people seem to be coming out of the woodwork on social media to screech over them shutting down.

I personally enjoyed Ted’s for what it was and enjoyed bringing my kids there. There are some sad regulars for sure today.

I’ve been also. Weirdly, I’m pretty sure it was the live music that lured me in. Was a metal band or something similar that you wouldn’t normally hear walking around, so I got intrigued.

Had a good time, tbh.

I used to hit Port of Call on Friday afternoon, then Checkpoint Charlie’s for a drink and video poker, before going to the FQ.

I liked Ted’s as a kid. Would ride my bike there. Not as much as an adult but I’ve had it probably 3x in the last 5 years for breakfast

Suplecs (metal band) used to play there every Mardi Gras evening, I believe I attempted to go one year in the early 2000’s but couldn’t rally into the door. It was always a dive bar every sense of the term. I’ve seen some other bands there as well.
