Why would nuking the filibuster even matter if the Save Act passes?

Dems can’t really flip any seats. Wouldn’t the GOP have a better chance to gain seats?

I know those dirty old GOPe RINOs don’t want things to change, but the filibuster excuse doesn’t carry water for me. They need to be called out on it.

Exactly…. But here we are with every excuse under the sun. Maybe they need the current system to stay in power so that’s why they won’t change. Not only would it knock out the Dems but also the Rinos. God forbid we ever see the truth.

It’s obvious.

Because each time the Senate flipped, massive tax changes, regulatory changes, and legal changes could jerk the nation left-to-right then right-to-left and back again, undercutting economic and national stability.

The Convention of States could send the US Senate elections back to their respective state legislatures and end the right to vote of women.

Probably because their own positions are at risk. I think some of the gop also win elections through shady means.

Nothing like a good crisis to flip some seats. Thinking back to the supermajority that the Dems got after 2008 where they did anything they wanted (Obamacare, Dodd-Frank).

The filibuster still matters.

Republicans do not WANT the majority. There’s more money, less work and less accountability in the minority.

The filibuster is being used like a throwaway gun in a felony. It has nothing to do with the original intent of the concept.

IF you are going to filibuster - then DO IT - get your arse on the floor and speak until you can no longer stand.

We have miserable wimps with the stamina of a 98 year old dementia patient now declaring 'muh filibuster' who would lose a debate with a 3 year old.

I am so pissed off I need to take a long walk in the woods. I once thought "IDIOCRACY" was a funny movie - now I see that it was just teasers for the coming blockbuster.

I literally hate the current democrat/rino establishment - it would not be good if I were in a room full of them with a loaded weapon.
