Take a Deep Breath (Baseball)

We have a coach that has won 2 titles in the last 3 years.
Yes, the last 17 games have been brutal. Yes, the pitching has looked incompetent at times. Yes, our transfers have not produced as anticipated. Yes, freshman have made huge mistakes in high stress situations. Yes, Milam and Curiel have not produced to a level we hoped. Yes, our bats have been dog shite.
It’s baseball. The season results aren’t based on where we’re at after the first two weekends of SEC play.
It’s how we finish. Jay will figure out who has it and who he can depend on to get the best results out of this team.
Breathe and avoid the panic button for a few more weeks.

I can’t wait until the next game to see us begin to right the ship. Team slumped in every category and still had a chance to win both SEC series.

You’re not an LSU fan.
You’re a bandwagoner who just likes to be associated with winners. The less of you the better.
You’re also a miserable POS. Ba-bye.

Yep
I see a pitching staff starting to shape up. I also expect Milam to raise his avg about 50 pts, Curiel about 30, Dardar about 60, Stanfield about 10.
Baseball is a long season. I think with Jay, everything's a test (like SpaceX). He learns and adjusts and moves on.

I took 3 deep breaths and I still ended up in the emergency room… Thanks for nothing

It’s rough after pre season expectations and just winning a natty. This team is not it, at least we know early. Best case scenario is they figure some shite out and make a regional and playing their best ball at that point. However, this just doesn’t look like the team with that kind of chemistry and fight. I hope I’m wrong.

Totally reasonable to be frustrated but the performance so far, but anyone claiming the season’s over shouldn’t be taken seriously about anything.
We went through this same thing in 2024 and were basically one play away in Chapel Hill from hosting a Super.
