.... is that she sincerely believes what the Catholic Church declares. Unfortunately, many in the clergy do not.

There is a budding debate in the YouTube world about this....not necessarily Carrie Present, but Catholics in talking about anti Zionism and the like with a healthy dose of Ted Cruz criticism thrown in.

Bishop Barron also plays a part as well, be likes to get his face out there. His Archbishop should tell him to limit his exposure.

Or perhaps his archbishop wants him to have a big media presence? Some bishops, going back to Bishop Fulton Sheen who had a TV show in the 50s and 60s with tens of millions of weekly viewers, are called to have such a presence.

Archbishops don’t really have authority over other bishops, as I understand it.

Only the Pope does.

I would start with "Hey Dude" as well. However, there is no doubt the modern state of Israel if not what has been prophesied. Where are the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob?

They do. But it's limited and only applies to those bishops within their ecclesiastical province.

I 've really not seen a lot of his shows, but his theology is very consistent with traditional Catholic teaching.

Here...
quote:

Over the past several weeks, Carrie Prejean Boller has complained that she was removed from the Presidential Commission on Religious Liberty because of her Catholic beliefs, and she has called out myself and other Catholic members of the commission for not defending her.

This is absurd. Mrs. Prejean Boller was not dismissed for her religious convictions but rather for her behavior at a gathering of the Commission last month: browbeating witnesses, aggressively asserting her point of view, hijacking the meeting for her own political purposes.

The Catholic position on matters of “Zionism,” to which I fully subscribe, is as follows: all forms of antisemitism are to be unequivocally condemned; the state of Israel has a right to exist; but the modern nation of Israel does not represent the fulfillment of Biblical prophecies and hence does not stand beyond criticism.

If Mrs. Prejean Boller were dismissed for holding these beliefs, it is difficult to understand why I am still a member of the Commission. To paint herself as a victim of anti-Catholic prejudice or to claim that her religious liberty has been denied is simply preposterous.

Zionism, without a doubt, is dramatically different than the ancient religion of Judaism. Zionist believe in world domination where they will rule over the goyim. To equate zionism with Judaism is like trying to mix oil and water. Any Christians, whether lay people or clergy should easily notice this.

I find it almost impossible to believe so many Christians have been duped into thinking the modern zionist state called Israel has anything to do with the ancient Judaic religion. As a Catholic, It's quite clear that Jesus is the new Israel and ANYONE who sincerely follows him is part of Israel.
Also, a great question for the good Bishop would be: If Israel has a "right" to exist, then does Gaza? Do you know there are Christians is nearly all of the countries being bombed? Do they have a right to exist?

Do you think it was a good idea for Carrie to defend Candace Owen’s positions on Judaism in that hearing?

Candace Owen's beliefs on zionism is in line with the Catholic faith. Now, other issues I can't go there with her. She may be a prophet but she also may be an opportunist.

Also, it must be said that modern zionists and modern Jews have NOT accepted their own messiah even after 2000 years! How did the imagination of some Christians get to a place where they want and support the creation of a world hegemony that hates them and their savior is beyond me.

Much of the church's hierarchy has been taken over by evil people.
