I know it’s still early and anything can change along the way with a coach like Jay, but not seeing the Leadership needed with the bats to make a legit run.

And the fielding, don’t get me started

Arrambide and Yorke are dragging this lineup down and putting so much pressure on Milam, Curiel, and Brown to carry the team. Not to mention they are both struggling defensively.

The disappointment lies in the offseason hype that Jay landed this amazing portal class and would have us in the thick of things.

Plus the fact that Football was shitty and I have no idea if we even have a men’s basketball team any longer cause I haven’t seen a game in 4 years.

Was really looking forward to this season and so far I am very disappointed just like everyone else.

Think this is going to happen from time to time in the portal age of college athletics. Still time to figure it out but there will be years where the transfers just don’t pan out. This may be one of those years. Trust Jay to get it right way more often than he doesn’t.

One of the most talented rosters in the country but we haven’t executed like a championship caliber squad in any area. You’re right it’s still early but it’s been a very disappointing product so far

Transfers this year are royally screwing this team. Yorke is arse, Caraway isn’t much better at all if not worse some games. Dardar has his moments at the plate but mostly nothing and Simpson well, I guess he’s just a lost cause at this point. Also our top ranked catcher out of high school plays like an unranked walk on recruit every game so that is just adding more salt to this LSU wound.

And then you have guys like Cooper Williams and Maverick Rizy that has all the potential in the world but they just continue to choose to suck arse on a regular basis as well. It’s like the more they pitch the worse they get. This team is borderline annoying to watch. So inconsistent it hurts. Can’t even get excited about a good win like yesterday because you know they are just going to forget how to do anything right the following game.

Milam is carrying the team defensively, but Yorke, Arrambide, Carraway, & Pearson are all more productive offensively than Milam.

Average compared to what? The SEC?

There’s 10 SEC teams in the college baseball top 25.

#2. Texas
#4. Arkansas
#5. Auburn
#6. Miss St
#7. Georgia
#8. Oklahoma
#15. Kentucky
#18. Florida
#22. Tennessee
#23. Texas AM

If you are the 11th best team in the SEC you aren’t average. You’re arse
