Go Belaire Bengals! I don’t think they even have a baseball team anymore.

Actually the Belaire area is heavily Hispanic. That’s why they have a good soccer team.

Former Bengal. Class of 81. My brother played baseball with Gary. Guy had a cannon behind the plate.

In high school, Gary would throw it back to the pitcher harder than the pitcher would pitch.

Did you graduate high school 2 times? Hymel and Bush didn’t graduate together

Bide doesn’t really have a long swing.. it’s just uphill and he pulls off and everything. Hips fly open before everything and really has no chance on anything on the back half of the plate, especially off speed. He really sells out on middle-in and/or hitting a mistake pitch, which really doesn’t come very often.

Just waiting for that sweet new mitt to be broken in. Catchers catching pitches is helpful.
