I would stay near the galleria. It’s close and there will be things to do.

I live pretty close to Brookhollow and it’s not bad but can be a little rough at times.

I agree. That area depends on how you define "safe". Like many areas of Houston you have pockets of nice surrounded by areas of "speed up and dont stop here" or gentrification in process but not completed.

Choose your hotel wisely. The galleria is pretty hood these days depending on the day of the week.

I assume he’s talking about just north of 290 right outside of 610. You know where everything is labeled Brookhollow on Google Maps.

Namely being weekends?
Is there anything adjacent to 610 that isn't a break in waiting to happen?

Galliera area or Memorial area is within a few miles of Brookhollow and will provide many more options food wise. Try Kenny and Ziggy's on Post Oak a great deli and BB's for crawfish

There’s also an Original Ninfas at San Felipe and Post Oak. It doesn’t have the ambience and “culture” of Navigation, but it’s still good.

You mean where its labeled "Central Northwest"

With South being Spring Branch and East being Shepherd Park Plaza with Shady Acres and Lazybrook/Timbergrove a little further South

That "everything labeled" Brookhollow?

Sorry you can’t read, sport. It’s what the map said for me when I tried to help OP.

Yeah, can't read...

Like it or not, Brookhollow isn't a common area and doesn't show up on a google search of Houston neighborhoods, hence why I asked where it was.
