Watched this on the plane from the west coast to Houston today. Is every ‘good’ movie nowadays just a mockery type film making fun of itself. It was entertaining enough i guess but pretty stupid as well. All the main actors did well but was making fun of themselves the whole time. Is this the new ‘genius’??? Seemed outright stupid.

I've seen many good films since but 2015's Spotlight stays with me as a very well rounded film that encapsulates what you are eluding to that contemporary movies may lack

Yeah I felt the same way. Barely paid attention to it the first watch. Watched it a second time recently and it was more watchable. The storyline is at least interesting but yeah some of the woke shite it over the top,

I was so psyched for this when I saw the user reviews so high on Flixster and watched maybe 30 mins and turned it off. Just a dumb movie.

Frigging wouldn't have been over by the time he supposedly landed. Mine's still at the half way point when I started the movie 2 months ago.
