Wade 1.0 injected life into a lifeless program. Wade 2.0 would be full on paddle shocks

Apathy for basketball was at a all-time high after the Johnny Jones years. From the moment Wade gave his introductory speech at the Student Union, he injected enthusiasm and energy into the program.
A return from Elba, would not only set the campus on fire but it would be THE biggest story in college basketball for a few days. No other coaching hire would do that.

Anecdotal, but I would buy 2-4 season tickets as soon as it was announced.

Haven't been to a game in 2 years

I would absolutely start going to more games if we had a coach that put some life into the team and to the overall experience.

Each passing day where no announcement is made that McMahon is fired , more likely it is that he is retained .

More like Necromancy. This isn’t even resurrection level after 3 days. It’s been dead and forgotten.

You know there's a tournament going on, right?

Wade's return wouldn't even make the front page on the national scene.

It's wild that this board is foaming at the mouth to hire a guy who has never made it past the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament, and just got bounced trying to play into this year's tournament.

I don't know, man. A lot of people want to see him fail and if he came back to the place that fired him for doing something that is now allowed, I feel like that would be a big story.

Completely false. Apathy was the Trent Johnson years. Even the really good team he had with Marcus Thornton had relatively little support.

All of this is driving me crazy. I want so bad for Wade to return but I have this sneaking suspicion that we’ll have another year of Matt

I would buy them again. I let them go when he was fired and I missed every game that year because of work.
