Wtf.
I had to make sure it wasn't April 1st when I saw it.
I guess itd be useful in the backyard for practice if you dont have trees but idk why I'd lug that out to a spot instead of a tripod.

A chair attaches to it as well, which makes way more sense than a saddle
but I guess you have to show that you can use it with a saddle, since saddles are so popular now.

Yeah that ain't that bad, then. I could imagine using that in a few spots if I didnt have a tripod.

There are pics of it where he has it folded up and its pretty compact and easy to carry
says it weight about 50 lbs
not something I'll ever use, but its an interesting concept that will assuredly be improved upon

Curious to see how someone would use that out in the swamp

I had some buddies that used to hunt swamp a lot and they used a similar pole set up but with a seat.
A square aluminum plate with a reciver then two 6 or 8ft poles with pegs for climbing and a seat at the top then guide wire ropes tied off to mangrove bushes.
My saddle is more comfortable than most lock ons so if hunting swamp I would probably use it.

I found the video showing the seat setup that Salmon pointed out. Looks like it could be pretty useful. If it packs up tight it might be easier to move around than the Millenium lightweight tripods.

Where would you hang your gear? Nothing to rest your knees on? Only ~8' off the ground?

And I thought e-bike was peak homo….

I’m gonna build one that collapses down and folds into the back of a SXS and uses rams like a power pole to elevate.
Will sell piles of them to the 30-40k$ cab/air sxs crowd!!

A trait that runs in my family is having no butt. We all have beer guts but flat butts. I’d flip out of that thing.

I have a tethrd. Pretty reliable but i do notice after sitting for a long time i get uncomfortable. By long time i mean 6 hours.

I have been busted while being 15 ft up. 8 ft up in the air is nothing. Those deer will easily skyline you.

depends on the cover. I'd rather hunt 8 ft up a leafy magnolia tree than 20 ft up a naked pine.

Very nice. I am a fan of tethrd and their products.
All day sits are brutal. I did it once. Never again. I was in a box stand over looking a clear cut. The view got old after a while lol

So much for being mobile. I don't see that being a big seller.

Are you blaming that on genetics?

That's called being a slob, not genetics.
