If tweet fails to load, click here. It's time to educate the cowardly, retarded Brits and Canadians coming at me in my NATO post. Trust me, weaklings, you need us far more than we need you!??
??Pull up a chair, because class is in session:
NATO's charter (Article 5) only covers attacks on members in Europe/N. America - that's true. But claiming it "doesn't allow help with Iran" is dishonest.
NATO ditched the pure-defense straitjacket decades ago:
•Bombed Kosovo 1999 without UN approval.
•Turned Libya 2011 civilian protection mandate into regime change.
•Ran 20-year offensive ops in Afghanistan.
They act as aggressors/out-of-area interveners whenever they feel like it. The Iran "no" isn't the charter, it's politics. If they wanted in, they'd find a way, just like before.
????Why the US Doesn't GAF What Canada Thinks:
•Bless your naive heart, eh? Ottawa just undercut our joint 100% tariffs on Chinese EVs by slashing theirs to 6.1%, greenlighting 49,000 regimemade imports yearly for a shiny new "strategic partnership" boosting trade 50% with Beijing; all for cheap canola. ?????
•Happily whitewashing the CCP's grotesque human rights violations against its own people: Uyghur genocide in concentration camps, forced organ harvesting, Hong Kong's crushed freedoms, and a dystopian social-credit surveillance state enslaving millions.
•Same "ally" that slow-walked Chinese election meddling, Huawei infiltration, and the Two Michaels hostage farce.
When you're bending over for Communist human-rights abusers instead of your actual partners, Washington stops pretending your lectures matter.
Trust: revoked. Not sorry.
????Why the US Doesn't GAF What the UK Thinks:
•Bless your collapsing little island, mate? Pathetic and weak: army recruitment disaster with the force shrinking below 72,000 troops, endless budget cuts, and the country on the brink of social and economic collapse.
•Happily committing grotesque human rights violations against its own people: flooding the nation with Middle Eastern migrants bringing grooming gangs, stabbings and chaos that harm native citizens; arresting Brits for Facebook posts criticizing the invasion; and crushing them with unaffordable energy bills, taxes, and housing that destroy working families.
•Same pathetic “ally” that’s slashed its military to irrelevance and relies entirely on America for any real defense.
??When you're this feeble, self-destructive, and abusing your own people, Washington stops pretending your lectures matter.
Trust: revoked. Cheerio!
???????????? Why Securing the Strait of Hormuz and Stopping Iran Benefits the World:
•Oh bless your de-escalation fantasy, snowflakes? Iran is already attacking tankers and trying to shut the strait that pumps 20 million barrels of oil every single day. That's 20% of the planet’s entire supply. Let them win and watch global prices triple, factories die, and every economy from Berlin to Beijing spiral into recession.
•Happily ending Iran's grotesque economic terrorism on the whole world. They're mining shipping lanes, arming proxies to blow up trade, and using nuclear blackmail to hold billions hostage. The 2026 chaos proves they’ll actually do it because they already are. Do you have fricking eyes???
•Same pathetic rogue regime that thinks one narrow choke point gives it veto power over civilization. Secure the strait and you cut off their balls. Cheap energy flows again, inflation drops, and the weak stop freezing in the dark.
•Ending the horrific human rights abuses against women, children and animals. Sorry, but your sad little protests don't stop fanatics who believe it's their God-given right to torture others. They laugh and thank you for spreading their terrorist propaganda grab the next 9yr old child bride and kick another puppy. Psychopaths who think they have a divine mission will only stop when you stop them.
In summary:
The United States doesn't actually need you cowards, and if we have to go it alone to rescue 90 million people from horror, secure global energy, and destroy the terrorists holding the world hostage, then so be it.
The UK and Canada are largely irrelevant on the world stage anyway and we all know it. ??
You had your chance, and we won't forget. ????????????
P.S. Total defense spending (the real military muscle that actually makes NATO work) is about $1.59 trillion. US alone does $980 billion, which is 62% of the entire alliance. The other 31 countries (Europe + Canada) scrape together the remaining 38%. US spends more than all the rest combined.
If we leave NATO you're frickED!
XOXO

We have chosen our ally already (our greatest ally!!1)
Who will continue to start wars and pull us into wars.

Of course we can leave the UN and leaving now is alright with me.

Even if we left NATO this afternoon, we’re still allies at the bilateral level with all of these countries you’re pissed at.

We will take care of our hemisphere only once we make sure Iran can not ever build nukes in your lifetime. I pray Russia takes Europe.

It’s amazing that you guys fell back into World Police mode within half a generation.
Wild stuff.
Wild stuff.

What's amazing is you guys thought men could have babies.

The next time we "invade" it may be the UK and France that need the saving. Their governments have duly failed them and without weapons they have no recourse to rebel and take them back. US military would do well to go in at some point and arm the resistance against the tyrants in charge

Yep, you are right. Russia certainly, like the USA, has everything it needs. Maybe Russia and the USA just divvy up Europe.

Asking countries to sweep for mines and escort tankers through the Strait of Hormuz is not asking them to take a part in offensive operations in Iran. It’s just asking them to do the same thing they are already doing by sending up planes to shoot down drones. Nobody is asking them to take part in a war. All that’s being asked of them is escort oil tanker through so that the price of oil worldwide is not affected. If they can’t do that much then maybe we should rethink our involvement with NATO. I have always supported the U.S. involvement of NATO. This relationship becomes more one sided by the month it seems.

It’s past “world police” and turned into imperialism. He wants to “divvy up Europe” now lol.

That is because the USA spends more on things that Europe does not. US for example has a big presence in Asia and Europe does not.
You DO know that Asia had an Asian-Nato until Trump left it seven years ago, right? And now he is trying to rebuild it because of China and Taiwan!
Plus America spends more per Veteran than any European country, no VA hospitals in Denmark. No GI Bills in Portugal. No cheap home loans to veterans in Croatia.
Plus only America (as far as western countries go) has decided to spend huge amounts on something Trump created - The Space Force. Frankly I am glad we spend in that research and the Euros dont, they will be forced to buy from us eventually.
We also spend a lot more on research for regular weapons, what do you think Area 51 is for?
If anything I'd be pissed if we were spending LESS on our defense than the Europeans. Chinese military outspending ours is NOT good for our defense capabilities.
