Not exactly. Vance still represents the anti boomer GOP. He polls extremely well among 45 and younger across several spectrums (religious, libertarian, anti interventionist etc.)
He’ll lose the boomer vote if he disagrees with Trump at any level, obviously.

Trumps numbers with folks under 40 is terrible and im being nice. The democrat playbook will be to attach Vance to Trump during the General.
The only saving grace Vance has right now is that Democrats are demonic and people hate them too.

That’s the playbook for anyone on the right. Doesn’t mean it will work. A couple of appearances on Rogan and Theo Vonn where Vance details where he did (or didn’t) deviate from Trump and this won’t matter.
