Do people lie about LSU fans?

Can’t tell you how many “stories” I’ve heard over the years from opposing fan bases about LSU fans.
Everything from children and old women cussing them out to people throwing glass bottles at them.
Do yall believe this stuff? Honestly I don’t. Sure I think our fans can get rowdy and hostile but only if provoked. If you come in talking smack looking for trouble, it will find you.
I think people completely make up stuff and exaggerate their so called stories.

I’ve seen some pretty severe interactions and they’ve never been to the level other fans will say. Do I believe some of the things they say are true. Probably. But I’ve never seen it personally.

I’ve definitely seen some rough housing and vulgar trash talking coming from our students towards opposing fans. But that’s gonna happen with every schools students. Ours may be a little more extreme though.

Read some of the shite insane people post on here. Now imagine them in the wild. I definitely believe there are some terrible interactions. I’d imagine there are also a lot of exaggerated stories but the anger and overall bitterness that people express on here when LSU loses, hell even during wins sometimes, I can definitely imagine them being complete assholes in public.

The flaw in your question permiates society.....all republicans are this, all democrats are that, all whites are this, all blacks are that. All LSU fans are this, all other fans are that. As if any one group consists of clones that are all exactly alike.

Considering how last season went, which visiting fan base is in for a rough ride in 2026? I’d say it’s got to be A&M. The way they acted since finally getting that Death Valley win, has been completely pathetic.
Bama will always be tense but boy those Aggie fans are going to feel the heat. I’d imagine Texas will be spicy also but we don’t have an ugly history with them the way we do with A&M as of recent.

No. That was stolen from big 8 fans who called Nebraska fans “corn dogs”. It’s not funny nor was it ever.
On another note, I’ve been going to LSU and road SEC games since 1975. Arkansas fans are the worst. The gulf coast fan bases are all about the same. Vandy fans for decades were harmless because they had nothing to thump their chests about.

Why would we smell like corn dogs? In my 45 years of Fandom, i have never seen anyone eating or cooking one. It's really stupid.
