I love this show, its awesome
However...I do wish there would come a point where its not just Mark getting his arse absolutely kicked for 99% of the show and then miraculously coming through in the end

I knew Cecil's dumbass decision to keep Conquest alive would come back to bite him. But damn, I didn't think it would be that quick. He didn't even struggle to escape.

Haven't watched since season 1. Loved it, but got pissed off with how it took 8 years for season 2 to come out. Is it worth restarting?

Yes. They have streamlined the production so we get a full season each year without any mid-season breaks.

So it turns out beating Mark half to death was kind of a right of passage in Nolan’s eyes. His mom did the same thing to him or actually she was worse she wanted to finish him lol. Turns out it was the dad who gave Nolan a little empathy.
Then the virus scene with all the bodies creating the ring around the planet. That whole flashback was awesome.

Badass way to start the season. So many awesome storylines too. That Nolan origin story was dark. Was thinking the same thing when Seth Rogan said did I just feel sympathy for these psychos?

I am absolutely loving the Nolan and Alan storyline going back to last last season.
I’m seriously shocked Invincible isn’t a smash hit show on here with tons of fans. Oh well always got Reddit.
But YOU MFS ARE SLEEPING on the best comic book show or movie going right now.
Maybe it’s the animation that’s a turnoff? If so that is fricking WEAK! This show has elite cast, writing, and they don’t hold back on violence. Just wait till the end of the first episode you’ll see lol

that’s a season finale for most shows and it’s just episode 3 this season.

It's a damn good show, but so many storylines and long gaps in-between seasons, it's hard to keep up. I need to find a recap video on Youtube.

I suggest watching ScreenCrush's recap of seasons 1-3 on YouTube.
There are a lot of recap videos on YT, but most are trash and omit tons of details. Even the one Amazon Prime released was total A.I. horeshit and was posting straight up inaccurate details.
ScreenCrush has the best one by far, and I recommend following them for their other content too - especially during House of the Dragon if you watch it. I use their recap videos after each episode and they'll point out small details you might have missed.
I went and took it on myself to read the comics of Invincible last year and went and bought the 3 massive compendiums that have all 144 issues. I haven't enjoyed reading something so much since I took on ASOIAF after the Red Wedding episode.
I read all 144 issues of Invincible 3 times over a 4 month period lol. This is my first season watching as a comic book reader, but I can totally see how just a show watcher could be overwhelmed with the amount of characters and storylines happening right now.
