2 of the new quality of life provisions

quote:

Hotel WiFi Upgrade Clause
Players will now be guaranteed WiFi strong enough to stream something other than buffering screens. One source called it “a competitive integrity issue.”

2 p.m. Checkout Protection
No more being forced out of hotel rooms at 11 a.m. on game day.

Dubbed internally as the “Green Object Clause,” the rule states that any unidentified green item left on the floor after a game (headbands, towels, water bottles, resistance bands, etc.) will now belong to the winning team — but must be distributed via a locker room lottery. Yes, a lottery. “There were too many arguments over who got the good headband,” one source familiar with negotiations said. “This brings structure to a chaotic situation.” Under the new system: All green-colored items not claimed within five minutes of the final buzzer are collected by arena staff

The winning team receives the items in a designated equipment bag
Players then participate in a randomized drawing to determine ownership
Veterans are not allowed to “big-time” rookies out of the process

Yeah those aren’t real, I just had ChatGPT craft em up but have had a few buddies believe they’re real. That’s the real joke.

Do NBA players have the same thing? I mean wifi can be important for scouting and viewing game film. You can get 2:00pm checkout protection at many nicer hotels. You have to pay extra usually, but that's no big deal.

Was an agreement actually reached? If so, what’s the agreement?

There’s an attention whore in this thread just adding fake details about the agreement

Thanks Caitlin Clark for making this newsworthy.

Ten years ago this wouldn't even be a headline on the ESPN website.
