What state do you live in? My gas price was at 2.70 when we first hit. Got up to 3.50 and today is sitting at 3.43

No one thinks high gas prices are good but sometimes temporary increases are necessary, there is a huge difference between that and openly calling for fewer refineries and more green energy, mouth breather lol

Everyone knows that CA drivers pay the highest fuel taxes in the US.
But California paid the national average for fuel instead of the highest taxes in the country, drivers would save over $565 million every week.
Half a Billion dollars. Per Week.
Here’s the back of the envelope math:
CA uses 258M gallons of gasoline + 67M gallons of diesel weekly.
Prices are $1.81/gal higher for gas and $1.51 higher for diesel than the national average.
That means Californians pay $465M extra for gasoline and $100M extra for diesel every week.
War in Iran or not, Californians are paying hundreds of millions more each week because of California policies
(The green in this chart represents refining and processing costs btw)
