It's even stupider Chad went there because the real reason Cam was even talking about Elliss was because both Cam and Terron said Cam can't go to Atlanta, and he knows some who went to Atlanta, and so naturally Elliss came up. He said he doesn't trust those that go to Atlanta. Panthers or Bucs, whatever, but if you go to Atlanta you're dead to him basically.

If anything that interview made me think it's more likely he'll be back than what people were saying 2 days ago. Not to say that means it's likely, but just that there is a legit chance there as opposed to being almost no chance.

Yeah basically he wants to be respected with better pay, more playing time to hit those sacks for top 10, or a chance to finally win the Super Bowl. Doesn't sound like he needs or expects all 3, but AT LEAST just one of those.
For that reason I think he may actually hang around until after the draft, as we likely don't want to guarantee snaps and then draft an edge and have lied to him.
If the rotation is Young, Granderson, and Jordan again then I think the playing time thing can be met.
And he is definitely talking himself into the whole "maybe Saints can win one" mind frame if he can't get the other 2.

I think going on live with Terron, who gets a lot of social media clip play, may be a last ditch effort to see if a team will bite and up his offer before he ultimately just stays put. We shall see.

Did you even listen to it? That wasn't the angle at all. If anything it just made it even more EXTREMELY obvious he wants to stay here and wants the Saints to just give him 1 reason, ANY reason, to stay.
