Before the brackets come out... who's your dark horse to make a deep run?

I think BYU can play with anyone and expect they can make it to the Elite 8 and maybe even the Final Four if they get favorable matchups along the way. Overall, I think there's a fair amount of parity this year and so maybe only two #1 seeds make it to the Final Four.

Arkansas will probably be a 5 seed and I think they can make a run. Acuff is special.

Illinois and Iowa State.

Iowa State- yep, except they are probably a 3 seed at the worst so not really a huge upset to make a deep run.

I think Illinois could get bounced in the round of 32, they are suspect.

NC State just to make the LSU admin look like idiots.

BYU has two great players and a bunch of scrubs. I agree they can make a run, or they can get blown out in their first game.

Deep sleepers, I like VCU assuming they make the tournament. They’ll probably get an 11 seed, which is the best seed for an underdog to get. They have good depth and have a history of causing chaos in the tournament.

I think Arkansas is an obvious one if you include them because of the talent, I imagine they will have pretty short odds to make the Final 4 for a 5 seed or wherever they end up. Wisconsin should be around there too and I can see them going deep, they have been playing well lately and have a couple good veteran guards

I like Santa Clara to potentially win a few games and Northern Iowa will be dangerous in the first round

I would have loved UNC and Tech to go deep before the injuries to Wilson and Toppin. Tech in particular looks like a completely different team. There aren’t a ton of projected 7 8 9 seeds I love

The Big 12 is the best conference. I expect a couple in the Final 4.

Lunardi’s latest bracket would potentially have Wisconsin and Vandy playing in the second round which would be such a spicy matchup

Wade has never been the best in-game coach. He has thrived having better players than the other team. I think NC state is only good for 1 win, if that.

I think Tennessee and St Johns will be teams no one wants to see round 2 and beyond.

Utah State could be a tough matchup in the second round.

For cinderellas i like Siena and LIU.

There aren’t a whole lot of teams in the entire country playing worse over the last month than NC State. I’d be shocked if they won any tourney games

Alabama because they're going to score at least 80 every time they step on the floor
