Sounds like you want the typical milquetoast, spineless, go along to get along, feckless, “above the fray” republican candidate.
Most conservatives are fed up with these elite, do nothing, blue blood, assholes. For years they’ve backed down when democrats pushed, or quietly sided with them when serious issues were discussed.
Trump showed the populous a better alternative; fight back, damn the torpedoes. And the populous overwhelmingly voted for him. frick the slanderous media accusations, refute the false claims, and don’t back down.
Paxton has followed suit and most Texans approve.
Cornyn needs to slink away and never show his corrupt face in this great state again.

That is a very ethical attack ad drawing out Cornyn's actual performance. It was not a personal attack.
Cornyn's ads on the other hand been out right slander, about Paxton's personal life, made up charges etc.
