And make it retroactive.

My insight on China and how they have been creating Chinese/US citizens for many years:
My wife worked for American Airlines (retired 2021), she saw this everyday for years & years (she worked the LAX/Shanghai flight) … AA planes arriving from China filled with soon-to-be mothers who were obviously in their third trimester. They go live in houses that are set up for these “soon to be moms” until the babies are born. They then get their US citizenship! After that, the moms & newborn babies go back to China for their indoctrination only to return in the future benefit from their US citizenry!
Go drive around Hacienda Heights, CA where they built a Buddhist Temple, you will see a lot of pregnant Chinese girls going for a walk or young Chinese mothers pushing baby carriages. My wife lived there growing up. She saw and met many of them.
I am sure this goes on all along the Western US coast, San Diego, Los Angeles , San Francisco, Seattle, Portland ... and that is just American Airlines! Think of all the other airlines that also fly to China!
Unfortunately this has been going on for 50+ years! What a travesty & fraud on our immigration system, another colossal failure by our worthless life-long politicians!

I know this will never happen but that doesn't mean we stop fighting for it.

Aren't we the only country in the world that stupidly does this?
Citizenship here is hugely valuable. Giving it away is idiocy.

This is why dual citizenship must be abolished.
If you claim to be an American, then come here and be all in and burn all bridges to other nations.

Agreed.
But I don't think this alone will fix that problem. Have to end birthright citizenship also. If you wait till they're old enough to revoke their citizenship elsewhere, it's too late.

Yes. People from all over do this.
Welcome to 40 years ago.
You people have really been asleep at the wheel and have the gall to rip on Trump.
Finally, ive been saying this whole time this is something congress has to fix. Something Massie hasn't touched.

Bruh, this is kinda stupid.
There are millions of American expats living abroad, with citizenship of the nation they are living in.

I might be talked in to a less strict compromise like no voting or eligibility for office for dual citizens.

Well, I am working on becoming a citizen of another country. My wife was born there and still holds her citizenship there (it is European) for upcoming retirement.
I am more than willing to say yes to this. I feel that is a good compromise.
You may miss her votes from Trump though....
Anyway, I hope you guys know that this current dual citizenship thing was most recently brought up because of American/Israel citizens.

Hart-Cellars Act should have been overturned decades ago.
frick Lyndon B. Johnson. I hope that piece of shite is rotting in hell. He’s the reason why this country is going down the drain.

The green part of the tweet is interesting. Never really thought about it in those terms. Makes total sense.

Yep, I know what an expat is.
Just wondering if you think it's cool for the children of birth tourism who mostly live outside the US their entire young lives, are allowed to vote in US elections.
