Honestly just wondering, because I was more excited for that than regime change wars in the Middle East. Have we deported as many as Obama did in his first year yet?

Broken promises.

Immigration was the number one issue that animated MAGA.

Do you even know how many people are being deported daily? I don’t but I’m not the one that made the thread. I also know just because it’s for once not dominating the news 24/7 hostile actors can’t use it for propaganda as long as Iran endures

Reports are 800 a day.

So let's say that 350K a year (generous).

Biden let in 10 million.

The math ain't working.

And what about the wall? We giving up on that?

They are still going strong.

You just don't hear about it because there are other things in the defect backlog which are being fixed that are getting more attention.

We’re capable of doing multiple things at the same time.

Do you think the Iran conflict is preventing ICE from doing their job?

I would suggest now is a good time to pump those numbers up as I implied above. Make the MSM choose which issue to lie about.

There’s still a lot of shite going on in Mexico from the cartels as well that Issue just got totally memory holed because of Iran.

Idk if that’s having an effect

This is an issue I will defend the administration. What is he supposed to do? ICE or CBP went hard in Minnesota and it came across too goonish to the public and mistakes were made at least as to Pretti. Trump sent in Homan and settled everything down. The people who want insurrection act declared are insane. And he has been uber aggressive using things like the Alien Enemy Act.

They won’t tell us how many because they know the numbers are way too low compared to what we wanted

Stoping more from coming in is as important as getting them out.

Bama conflated numbers becuase they counted the ones he caught at the border. Trump is killing it on immigration.

One fair criticism of Trump is his use of hyperbole and vague language. When he says mass deportations, that leaves quite a bit up to interpretation because how does one define what "mass" means?

If you compare Obama, Biden & Trump, here's the breakdown of deportations including voluntary self deportations.

Obama (2008-2016): 5.0-5.3 Million
Biden (2021-2025): 4.4-4.7 Million
Trump (2025-Present): 2.5-2.6 Million

If Trump were to keep this pace, he would have between 8.7-9.0 million deportations, presenting a 70% increase over Obama and a 92% increase over Biden.

So it really comes down to how do you define "mass?" Take into account the record low of border crossing under Trump 2.0, it's clear that the data says we are addressing immigration at a much higher rate than Obama and Biden.

Right. I would give him an A on the border and B+/A- on deportations.

Corporations love cheap labor and that is why they are here. They were never leaving. You think white people are going to pick strawberries?
