Did you know the oldest representation of braided plaits actually comes from Europe?

This is 23,000 years old, found in France

Historians and archaeologists consider this the second earliest representation of braided hair, likely box braids
This is the oldest, 30,000 years old in Austria, but it looks more like wavy hair than braids

Every time a black kid in one of my classes would claim they invented a thing in Africa, I would respond with "Maybe, but you can't prove it"
Most likely simple things like braids, pottery, cooking, and basketweaving originated in disparate cultures throughout the world, independent of one another.

I know the history quite well, and never denied black cowboys. The afrocentric pages I'm referring to claim to be the first. It's funny to watch the Mexicans and the black people go after each other in those pages.
